Empire Exchange
Web Design

In 2022, this boutique was in need of an update to their website. Working with content strategist Nancy Webb, I designed a more functional website which better represented this community oriented business.

 Before

When we started this project, Empire Exchange had several issues with their website. The limitations of the platform they were using presented problem with multilingual functionality. Their clothing exchange program was outlined with a single long page of confusing text. This resulted in staff having to spend extra time explaining the program in person and customers having trouble booking their appointments. The website also lacked connectivity with the rest of their branding. After analyzing these pain points, we built a new website which featured their brand and voice, and made their exchange process easy for their clients.

The illustrations continue to the exchange page and the friendly brand voice is present.

By adding an FAQ page, we made lots of information available to clients without overloading the exchange page.
